Is FishMan really free?

Yes. You can download and use FishMan for free. AI scans, AI Coach questions and detailed per-spot weather are capped daily in the free version. FishMan PRO removes those limits and starts with a 3-day free trial.

How does the AI fishing coach work?

The AI coach uses real-time weather at your location, the spots around you and recent catches to answer your questions. You can also send a photo of the water and it will analyze it to recommend a suitable lure and technique.

How does AI fish identification work?

Snap a photo of your catch — the AI identifies the species in seconds, with 300+ freshwater and saltwater species supported. If the AI isn't certain, you can correct it manually before saving the catch to your logbook.

What is the Fish Score?

The Fish Score is a live 0-to-100 score computed from barometric pressure, wind, water temperature and other conditions. It tells you when fishing will be active on a given spot — and when it's better to wait.

Are my spots private?

Your choice. You can keep a spot strictly private, share it with friends, or open it up to the community. Private waypoints are visible only to you.

Is FishMan available on Android?

For now FishMan is available only on iOS via the App Store. The Android version is in the works — drop us a line at contact@fishman-app.com if you want to be notified at launch.

What does FishMan PRO unlock?

PRO gives you unlimited AI Coach conversations, unlimited AI fish ID scans, premium spot access and full forecast detail. You start with a 3-day free trial.

How do I cancel my PRO subscription?

Directly from your Apple ID settings — two taps. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Does FishMan sell my data?
